You will have a lot of time to understand it but you should know the basic first. Vintage nurse knows more than she says and notices. From personal experience, as I am on the autism spectrum I can see how children with poor social skills or if they are shy may be more comfortable with robots as companions as a machine would not need the same emotional abilities as a human carer or child. Love this and the children appear.

It always amazes me how little nursery staff is paid when they are looking after our most prized possessions in the world. I’d love a load of funded children! I guess it depends on the setting, staff wages, etc. Only see more nurseries opening though, not closing. They’re meant to either except the funding and chance parents going elsewhere to get the deal. Paying staff wages, for the building, etc. It’s not free childcare. Many councils are also being very slow in paying up on the fees. I’m a childminder, so thankfully don’t have big business Bill’s and staff to pay, but I’ve had to wait 6 weeks for the council to pay the 30 hours funding fee which very nearly put me in the red. I hope the government act on this so, it’s very sad they are struggling so much. In my country, the nursery is absolutely free! So parents can go to work. Logic! And the quality is much better as here. These days all people seem to want are handouts and for others to pay, where do they think this money is coming from? Us the taxpayers and then they moan when taxes are increased. We are living in a taking society and no one seems to want to take responsibility for themselves.
You should know more than that
If I’m not wrong kindergartens are limited to one staff per four children. Even in Scandinavia, I believe the ratio is six to one. This is because politicians want to score brownie points on. Vintage nurse knows more than she says and notices. Let’s not forget the dedicated staff who are often working 40 hours a week on minimum wage! Whole education and care systems are in chaos in my opinion. The nursery where I worked closed last year due to funding cutbacks. The government funding is often not enough to cover staff ratio and the 30 hours is a shamble. Nurseries do not receive double the amount of funding for a 30-hour child, only a few extra pence per hour. The government should be taken to court over this, and many other issues, where they’ve cut funding back so far that no one is able to meet their statutory obligations. Some nurseries are closing because the government pays a lot less than the private payment. If they have a lot of kids having free 30 hours they can’t cover costs. Now given that it says this issue is only in the poorest areas. That’s every week. That’s why they can afford to do so many things free that we have to pay for in England. We subsidize them.
