You will never find any other stone like this one. We defended the Stone we found the Chamber we are the Harry Potter. Thing is if they want us back at five months or even as it was with my last at one-month others have to accept it is with baby in tow. If I went to work with my children I’d be asked to leave to. I once took my son to the toilet at work when my husband dropped me off one day and was asked why he was in the office.

All the crying, screaming and tantrums would be too much. The baby wouldn’t get any rest at all in there. Totally agree, no one I know takes their baby to work unless it’s to drop them off. They are very distracting whether you find them terribly cute, or totally annoying. Whether it‘s with an expensive nanny or cheap daycare or a grandparent, we all lose when family time is as regimented and fragmented as it has become. It IS possible to create working environments in which parents are supported and able to have children nearby. It’s too bad that we haven’t made this more of a priority. Image a police officer or firefighter carrying their baby along. Maybe they should consider opening an on-site daycare; there must be hundreds of workers there for whom it would be welcome. It seems to me that any workplace with more than a certain number of employees should have one. I don’t see the big issue wrt this. Kids don’t belong at work. I have 3 children and I’ve worked permanently since I was 18. Working moms have the option of daycare. Kids don’t belong in the work environment. Sadly I didn’t have kids but I’d have no worries if mums came to work with their babies when they needed to.
Give me that stone
Absolutely fair enough. If I’m not allowed to take my kids into work with me and have to pay hundreds at daycare, so should she. Either apply it to all or no one. No exceptions. We defended the Stone we found the Chamber we are the Harry Potter. Parents can take their children to work if they have no other option, for example when the daycare centers are closed and both parents are working. It is rare and usually happens with a few older children since parental leave is 1 year after giving birth. Totally agree, I could not imagine bringing my daughter into a professional environment, either when she was a baby or now as an older child. How can you focus on your work responsibilities whilst worrying about taking care of your child? Equally, she would be completely bored and far rather be doing something else! The family had to have suitable childcare arrangements. I am an avid proclaimer of women’s rights but I don’t support the right of any parent to take a child to work as the norm. It’s true if I took my kid to work I’d either be fired or given an unpaid day, surely you can afford a nanny or nursery like me and my missus have too. I can’t take my kids to work even if it was brought your child to work day I’m a bus driver can’t exactly leave him in the buggy area.
